Over 3 years ago we moved in to this totally needs to be renovated house. Promises were made, promises were broken... all I know is that finally this house is being renovated. I am hopeful that one day it will actually be done. Of course it may be the day we are moving out of it, but at least it will be done.
We employed (actually, the business did) Matt's father's "ward" to do all the woodwork that needed to be done - and there was a lot. Rotten wood on a 60 year old house that was probably never really taken care of, especially in the past 30 years. Jay did an outstanding job. He may work slow, but he does a very good job.
The most maddening part of painting the house were the people trying to tell you that you really did not want to paint the color you had painted. Stick to your guns and stay with the color you want otherwise you won't be happy.
